Ink Card Fingerprinting
The classic ink-on-card method. Required by the FBI, most state agencies, professional licensing boards, immigration, adoption, foster care, and the majority of out-of-state background checks. We use Certifix-certified equipment and proper rolling technique — clean, readable prints the first time.

Live Scan via Fieldprint
Live Scan is a digital fingerprint capture that's submitted electronically by the agency. We're an authorized Fieldprint location for the WA accounts that require it. Appointments are scheduled directly through Fieldprint — we just perform the scan when you arrive.

If you've been asked to provide a fingerprint card, it's almost always for one of these reasons:
Employment Background Checks
HR-required pre-hire screenings. Bring whatever form your employer gave you — we'll fill the card to spec.
Professional Licensing
Real estate, insurance, healthcare, daycare, security, finance — most state license applications require an FBI/state fingerprint card.
Concealed Weapons / Firearms
WA Concealed Pistol License (CPL) and out-of-state non-resident permits. We can do federal and state cards in the same appointment.
Immigration, Adoption, Teaching
USCIS naturalization, foreign country FBI checks, foster care & adoption applications, WA teacher certification, and similar government clearances.
What to Bring
- Government-issued photo ID — driver's license, passport, or state ID. Required for every fingerprint appointment.
- Your fingerprint card(s) if the requesting agency mailed or emailed them to you. We have FBI FD-258 cards on hand if you don't have one.
- The applicant info / cover sheet from your employer or licensing agency, if any. We'll match the card to it.
- Payment — $49.99 per card. Cash, credit, debit. Sales tax included.
Tip: Multiple agencies often need duplicate cards. Bring all the forms with you so we can do them in one 10-minute visit.
How It Works
Fast and unfussy. Here's what your visit looks like:
1. Book or walk in
Reserve a 15-min slot online or call ahead. Walk-ins welcome whenever we're open — we'll fit you in.
2. ID check
Show photo ID, hand over your card and any agency paperwork. We confirm the right card type before we start.
3. Roll prints (~10 min)
Certified rolling technique. Each finger, both thumbs, full set on the card. Clean, readable, accepted on first submission.
4. You're out
You leave with your physical card(s). Mail or hand them in to whoever requested them — we don't submit on your behalf.

Walk-ins are welcome whenever we're open. Booking a 15-min slot guarantees we'll be ready for you with no wait, especially Saturdays and around lunch hours when we get busy.

Live Scan is a digital capture that gets submitted electronically by the operator (us) to a specific agency through a service like Fieldprint. The agency must already be set up with Fieldprint — you'd be told if Live Scan is what you need. Live Scan appointments are booked directly through fieldprint.com.
Ink card fingerprinting is $49.99 per card. Multiple cards in one appointment? Same price per additional card — no extra setup fee. Live Scan pricing is set by Fieldprint and the requesting agency, not us.
Yes. We keep FD-258 federal cards in stock. We also accept state-specific cards, applicant cards, and any custom card the agency provides. Bring whatever you have.
About 10 minutes for one card. We book 15-min slots to leave room for ID check and questions. If you need 2-3 cards, plan on 15-20 minutes total.
Not for ink cards — we hand the completed card back to you and you submit it however the requesting agency told you to (mail, in person, or scan upload). For Live Scan, electronic submission happens automatically through Fieldprint.
Yes, Saturdays 10a–4p. Walk-ins are welcome but it's our busiest day — booking a 15-min slot is highly recommended.
