This Privacy Policy explains how Print Annex / PostalAnnex Kent ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit printannex.com, place a print order online, visit our store at 25248 Pacific Hwy S Suite 101, Kent, WA 98032, or use any of our local services — including printing, shipping, mailbox rental, notary, faxing, and passport photos.

We are an independently owned and operated PostalAnnex franchise. We aim to be straightforward about what we collect and why.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide to Us

  • Order information: details of the products and services you request, file uploads (artwork, documents to print, scan, or fax), proofs and approvals.
  • Payment information: credit/debit card details and billing address. Card numbers are processed by our payment processors (such as Stripe) and are not stored on our servers.
  • Mailbox rental customers: federal law (USPS Form 1583) requires us to collect and retain copies of two forms of valid identification, your home address, and other information required by the United States Postal Service.
  • Notary customers: we record the information required by Washington State notary law in our notary journal, including your name, signature, and identification details.
  • Shipping customers: recipient names, addresses, phone numbers, and contents declarations as required by the carrier (UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS).
  • Account information (if you create an online account): username, password, saved addresses, order history, and product preferences.
  • Communications: messages, emails, voicemails, and feedback you send us.

Information from Third Parties

We may receive limited information from payment processors confirming a transaction, shipping carriers providing tracking status, advertising platforms (such as Google) reporting on ad performance, and public review platforms (such as Google or Yelp) where you have left a review.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Send order confirmations, proofs, shipping updates, and pickup reminders.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only as needed to run our business:

  • Government and legal authorities when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to comply with USPS or notary regulations.
  • Successors in interest if our business is sold, merged, or transferred, in which case the buyer would be required to honor this policy or notify you of changes.

We do not authorize our service providers to use your information for any purpose other than the one we hired them for. We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. See Section 8 regarding "sharing" under California law.

4. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your shopping cart, understand how visitors use our site, measure the performance of our advertising, and show you relevant ads.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website. GA4 uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your use of the site (such as pages viewed, links clicked, form submissions, and approximate location), which is then used to compile reports on website activity and to measure the performance of our marketing. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our website. Clarity captures behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to help us improve our website and your experience. This data is captured using first- and third-party cookies and similar tracking technologies. We use this information for site optimization, troubleshooting, and to measure the popularity of our services. Microsoft may combine this data with information from its other services. For more details on how Microsoft collects and uses your data, visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features of our site (such as checkout and your account) may not work properly without them.

We use Google Ads, including its remarketing (also known as "your data segments") feature, to advertise our products and services online. Remarketing allows us to show ads to people who have previously visited our website, so the message you see is more relevant to your interests.

In connection with Google Ads and remarketing, you should know:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, show our ads on websites across the internet.
  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and device identifiers to serve ads based on your past visits to our website.

  • Data collected through these features is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.
