Box vs. crate: Some artwork ships safely in sturdy corrugated double-boxes with extra protection. Pieces that are large, fragile, or high-value need custom wooden crating for full protection.
Climate control: Paintings and antiques are sensitive to humidity and temperature. For long-haul or international shipments, ask about climate-aware packaging.
Declared value: Always declare actual market value — this drives both the level of protection we use and the insurance coverage available.

Boxes & Standard Packages
The bread and butter of what we ship every day. Bring your sealed box with the label ready, or come in unpacked and we'll handle it. We compare FedEx, UPS, and USPS rates to find you the cheapest option.

Documents & Envelopes
Legal documents, contracts, tax filings, certified records. USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope, FedEx Overnight, and UPS Next Day Air are all available. We'll help pick based on whether you need tracking, proof of delivery, or signature confirmation.
Fragile Items (Glass, Ceramics, Electronics)
Bring it in unpacked. We use double-boxing, foam blocking, bubble wrap, and corrugated dividers depending on the item. Items under $1,000 in declared value ship via standard carrier with insurance. Higher-value or extremely fragile items get custom crating.
Furniture & Large Items
Chairs, side tables, headboards, mirrors, lamps. Most fit in a standard custom box; larger pieces go on a pallet via LTL freight. Bring measurements and we'll quote it.
Artwork & Posters

Pallets & Freight (LTL)
Anything over 150 lbs or oversize typically goes via LTL freight. We'll quote FedEx Freight, UPS Freight, and a few regional carriers and pick the best price for your destination.
Returns & Marketplace Shipments
Amazon, eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, FedEx Returns — email us your label or QR code and we'll print it, pack the item, and ship. Most returns are free drop-off. Repackaging starts at $3.

How do you ship a framed painting safely?
We wrap the painting in acid-free glassine, add corner protectors, double-box with foam blocking on all six sides, and tape the glass with a protective grid in case the glazing breaks. For high-value pieces we build a custom wooden crate and add shock indicators.
Do you build custom crates for sculptures?
Yes. Custom wooden crates with structural padding, internal bracing, and ISPM 15 certification for international destinations. Sculptures with extended elements get custom support so the piece does not flex during transit.
How much does it cost to ship art from Kent, WA?
