Parcel carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS) are great up to about 150 lbs. Above that, or for anything bulky, palletized, or fragile, LTL freight is cheaper and safer. Your shipment shares a truck with others — you only pay for the space you use.
Most standard crates are ready within 2–3 business days of pickup. Rush jobs (24-hour turnaround) are available for an extra fee — call us before submitting if you're on a tight deadline.
Both. Free local pickup is available across Kent, Des Moines, Auburn, Federal Way, SeaTac, Renton and Tukwila. Outside that radius, we charge a small dispatch fee. Or drop off at our Kent shop during business hours.
Yes. We add declared-value insurance on every shipment by default. Carrier-only coverage often pays just $0.10–$0.50 per pound — not enough for an antique armoire or a fine-art piece. We make sure your real value is protected.
Absolutely. We build ISPM-15 certified crates required for international export, prepare customs documentation, and coordinate ocean or air freight. Common destinations from Seattle: Asia, Europe, Australia, Canada, Mexico.
LTL rates depend on weight, dimensions, freight class, origin/destination ZIPs, and accessorials (liftgate, residential delivery, inside delivery). Online calculators rarely capture all of this — that's why we hand-quote everything.
